myself and my friend jim had rooms here for 10 nights from 19/06/10 and we both have to agree it was a real pleasure to spend time here.
if you want a nice area this it but still only a short walk to the beach and even shorter walk to the night life at jomtein complex.
from the time we arrived until we left nothing was a problem for nui and jak 2 great guy’s who made our stay a real pleasure hope we will be back soon also thanks to the owner brian for having such a nice place for us to relax.

Hi Mike and Chan!
We spent at your guesthouse more than 3 unforgettable weeks. Wonderful service, cleanliness, comfort, home atmosphere, friendly attitude to hotel guests deserve the highest praise! There is no problem to go to the center of entertainment in Pattaya, a beach within walking distance, lots of food options nearby. If possible, we will gladly come to your guesthouse many times again.

what a great time we had at your place , nothing was too much trouble ,as for the friendly nature of you both ,second to non!!!
we loved the orchid , candy was a messy bitch ,but after all you dont get many drag queens from liverpool stayin in your place !!!!!

have booked again for next year

I want to share a secret with you all. If you want to stay in the best guest house in Pattaya this is it. Dont look anywhere else. I have stayed here for six weeks and will be back as soon as I can. Like all the other recommondations here nothing is too much trouble and you are minutes away from the sea, the boys and a great breakfast in Papa Davids. All I can add is you will be back time and time again. Thanks Mike and Chan.

I choose this guest house first on recommendation from a previous guest and secondly, I like to stay Jomtien area and within five minutes walk to beach. Also two minutes to baht taxi route for visits into Pattaya centre. I can only reiterate previous comments, the guest house is kept spotlessly clean and nothing to much trouble. Any laundry I left out in mornings was always washed, ironed and placed in my room upon my return from beach in afternoon. I look forward to my future stays and will not hesitate to recommend it to my friends.

Been back to the “real world” for 2 weeks now and am longing NOT just for Pattaya but The Guesthouse. Being a veteran of 14 trips to Thailand I can speak as an expert on places to stay and I will look no other place for accommodations in my future trips. The rooms and service were impeccable and the owners friendly and most accommodating. Even for small, unusual requests. The pool is small but perfect for that after beach cool down swim. The wifi was the BEST I have experienced at any hotel in my travels and a 5 minute walk to the beach is glorious. I have already booked for next year and I am counting the weeks to be back in Paradise.

WELL JUST TO SAY THANKYOU FOR LETTING ME STAY IN YOUR GUEST HOUSE , IT IS LIKE GOING FROM HOME TO HOME YOU MAKE ME SO WELCOME AND IT IS A PLEASURE STAYING THERE . THE ROOMS ARE SO CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE AND YOU BOTH ARE SO HELPFUL ,THE LOCATION IS GREAT FOR THE BEACH .
AND IF YOU WANT TO GO TO PATTAYA ITS ONLY TEN MINUATES AWAY , I HAVE RECOMMENEND IT TO MANY FRIENDS .

The Orchid Guesthouse came highly recomended by a freind of mine in england.I can assure you will not be disapointed in the Kind Considerate Thoughtful service that I received.At this guesthouse I was made welcomed at this is your home.Mike & Chan treat you like a family member.I enjoyed myself immensley as there was nothing that they would not do for there guest.If you are looking for a wonderful stay in Pattaya this guesthouse is a must.

For my first visit to Thailand and Pattaya, I was recommended the Orchid Guesthouse by a friend.

From the moment I arrived, I felt that I was getting five star treatment by Mike. Nothing was too much trouble for him.

I had the big ground floor room which provided everything that I could have wishes for as I think the other rooms do, too.

Mike and Chan provide an excellent service and I wouldn’t have any hesitation about staying with them again.

If I have any criticism, it is that the shower could have been a bit more powerful but I guess a stronger shower would be environmentally less desirable! Mike has probably got it right!

If any problems arise (e.g. a light bulb dies) they are dealt with immediately. Mike and Chan are always willing to advise and help and even arranged my taxi transfer to the airport when I left – the taxi costing quite a lot less those that I saw advertised around town. Ask one of the bigger hotels to do the same thing, and the transfer costs the earth!
